Adorable Holiday Gift Ideas For Your Furry Family

It’s that magical time of year again! During your holiday shopping don’t forget to include your floofins! If you’re looking for a few gift ideas, read on for some cool stuff for dogs and cats.

For Dogs:

If you’re on the lookout for seasonal- and holiday-themed toys for your floofin, we’ve got you covered. Planet Dog offers its famous Orbee-Tuff® toys in a handful of durable and seasonally themed styles. Two cute ones are the lump of coal and the snowball, each charmingly labeled as such on the toy itself. They each measure 3” in diameter and the snowball has a place to tuck treats. Planet Dog also offers a ball in a gorgeous deep blue with the word “shalom” on it for Hanukkah doggies. Great for holiday fetch sessions, and it’s got a minty flavor too! The Shalom ball is available in 2.5” and 4” so you can choose the best size for your dog.

What’s better than one squeaky toy? Twelve squeaky toys! Or in the case of the Twelve Days of Christmas Squeaker Matz™ by Outward Hound, twelve squeakers in one toy. At 12” x 13” x 2” this is a nice-sized toy that contains minimal stuffing but is fuzzy so there’s still a cuddle-factor. This super-squeaker toy is a great way to entertain your dog while the holidays are on.

Looking for a cozy, indoor dog house for your pup to snuggle up in? Check out the Tee-Pee Hound Lounge by wagwear. This tent-style hideaway comes in a few different colors and features a removable, fleece-covered pad for sleeping. The tent measures 26”x 26”x 26” and is designed for dogs 40 pounds or under. This indoor tent-styled doghouse is meant for cozy in-home use and not actual camping trips.

For Cats:

Did you know the renowned dog toy company Kong makes items for cats, too? They do! If you’re looking for a stocking stuffer for your cats this year take a look at Kong’s Catnip Botanicals—catnip blended with lovely-smelling herbs to make catnip-time even more interesting. Kong offers this as a three-pack for even more variety. The three-pack contains catnip with lavender, lemongrass and valerian-mint. Since cats can get used to catnip over time this is a nice way to keep the catnip enticing.

Catastrophic Creations offers wall-mounted cat lounges, forts, and bridges, giving your cat their own space and the enrichment they deserve. If you’re looking to go all-out on a lounge fort for your cat, check out the Roman Cat Fort, which features two wall-mounted sisal poles, canvas hammocks, a ladder and a hole to climb through. If you’re looking for something a bit smaller, check out the Cat Lounger with Escape Hatch. Since these are wall-mounted cat enrichment and hangout spaces, Catastrophic Creations has a variety of fabric colors, wood stains and bracket colors so you can match your cat-spaces to your home décor. The website includes detailed mounting instructions too.

Looking for a gift you can all benefit from? West Paw Design’s Big Sky Blankets® are perfect for covering your furniture and protecting it from your pet’s fur and dander. While any of the Big Sky Blankets® would make a great addition to your furnishings, check out the Red Crimson Ice pattern—it’s subtly and beautifully seasonal and only available while supplies last! The blankets come in S,M, and L in order to fit a variety of surfaces. Blankets are faux suede on one side and super-soft fabric on the other. Good for families with cats, dogs, or both!
