Trixie A.K.A. The I-90 Puppy

Author: Kristin Skelton
[singlepic id=3 w=160 h=120 float=left]Our friend Sarah was driving home Tuesday on I-90 and saw a dog walking on the shoulder of the road. She and another guy (Chris) pulled over to pick up the dog.

After some investigation and scanning of a microchip, they had discovered that she had recently been adopted out from the Animal Welfare League in Chicago Ridge and sadly had already abandoned by her new owner.

She is a 7-month old puppy named Trixie. She is a super sweet, slightly scared and adorable dog. She is missing one leg but it isn’t slowing her down.

Sadly nether of her rescuers can keep her, so we are helping them send out a beacon to animal lovers everywhere to try to find her a new home. She was dropped off at the Animal Welfare League and tried to follow her rescuers home. *tear.

If anyone is interested in adopting her, please contact us and we can point you to more information.

FOLLOW UP ON TRIXIE

You will all be happy to know that Trixie ended up being adopted by one of her rescuers. Congrats to her and her new pet parents.
