3 Years of Dog Walks, Pet Sits, and Other Unique Custom Pet Care Services
Floofins & Company celebrated it’s 3rd birthday this past April Fools Day. After 3 years of walking dogs, playing with cats, caring for birds, checking in on reptiles, cleaning up after small furry things, driving happy little fuzz balls to the groomer, handling furry flower girls in our client’s weddings, and the other 101 fun activities our staff gets to do on a daily basis I have to say 3 years has flown.
Looking back to when it all started back in 2010, everyone thought I was CRAZY. “Really!? You are leaving a full time job in the city for suburbia and dog poop?” Maybe seemingly NOT the best idea in a down economy, the risk has reaped more benefit than I could have imagined and it has been the BEST decision I have ever made.
Being able to manage a team of true pet lovers and provide an alternative care option for local pet parents has been nothing but a joy. The fun furry clients and enthusiastic pet loving humans we work with on a daily basis have become a second family to our staff. Our company has grown from an idea and a prayer to a team of 18 (and growing) of the most responsible and compassionate pet care professionals I have ever had the privilege of working with.
And then there is Prissy and Portia, the two little “Floofins” who started it all. If not for your ridiculously spoiled lives and ability to make Chris and I both complete pushovers to your every desire, Floofins & Company would have never came to be. For this our staff and clients thank you. Happy birthday Floofins & Company.
