Presents 4 Pets 2015

At Floofins & Company we have the pleasure of visiting pets in their homes, but it is important to also help the not-so-fortunate pets still looking for their forever homes. We recently wrapped up another successful Presents 4 Pets drive to benefit the Hinsdale Humane Society in Hinsdale, IL.

It has been about a month since Floofins & Co. “Stuffed the Subaru” in honor of the National Association of Professional Pet Sitters’ (NAPPS) Presents 4 Pets Drive. This year the Floofins & Co. Pet Care Team set up inside of the Pet Supplies Plus in Westmont, IL and collected new and lightly-loved items for the Hinsdale Humane Society. We were even visited by some of our floofin friends.

As part of the annual Presents 4 Pets program, Floofins & Co. and other NAPPS members across the country reached out to their clients and community and encouraged them to collect and donate items such as dog and cat food, collars, leashes, toys, treats, towels and blankets. All of the items collected benefit animals in need.

We are grateful to have such animal-loving people in our lives which made it possible for us to literally “Stuff the Subaru” with over 50 roles of paper towels, 7 gallons of bleach, 176 cans of cat food, over 100 pounds of dog food, 40 pounds of cat litter and enough detergent to do over 300 loads of laundry! We also presented the Hinsdale Humane Society with a $60 gift card to Pet Supplies Plus.

In an effort to continue giving back to our local shelters and pet adoptions throughout the year, Floofins & Co launched “Roofs for Floofs”. After you bring home your new bundle of fur, book any in-home pet care service with Floofins & Co. In return, we will make a $20 donation back to your participating shelter or rescue group. We hope all shelter animals have a clean and warm place to sleep along with full bellies this new year while they wait for their FURever homes!
