Letting the Dogs Out in Woodridge
In Woodridge IL, we’re fortunate to have a 14 acre fenced dog park – Green Valley Forest Preserve Dog Park – that we can use for pet sitting and dog walking. For our clients with young or active or rambunctious dogs a large fenced dog park is just what’s needed to let the big dogs out. There are actually 2 dog parks here. There is a large area for big dogs and a smaller separate area for small dogs. You have to have a permit to take your dog to these areas.
In addition to the dog park, there are about 40 other parks in Woodridge which is a big plus for pet sitting & dog walking. The trees will soon be leafing out and the grass greening – so walking and running the dogs will mean good bye snow and hello flowers!
Other Nearby Dog Parks:
- The Forest Preserve District of Will County’s 8-acre fenced Whalon Lake Dog Park – Naperville – provides an exercise area where dogs can run free. The Dog Park also features a smaller 2.5-acre park for dogs under 30 pounds.
- Springbrook Prairie Dog Park – Naperville – Pets love this fenced, off-leash dog park in the northeast corner of this park, which includes 2 acres of grassy space and picnic tables.
If you have a dog that needs to run and exercise, give us a call. Our professional pet sitters know the best spots in Woodridge to get your pet the exercise they need.
