2017 Holiday Gift Guide: Dog Edition

Holiday Gift Ideas For Your Pooch!

The Holiday Season is upon us and as always we want to include our pets in the festivities. Dogs deserve presents too so read on for a few gift-giving ideas for Fido.

This Holiday Bear by West Paw is not only festive and cute, it also has a squeaky toy inside! It’s perfect for the dog who loves to snuggle. This bear comes in two sizes and is available while supplies last.

Another one from West Paw, this toy is for dogs who like to chew….from their Rowdles™ line of toys, this one is named “Fergus.” Available in three colors, Fergus is designed for small dogs. Made with both their famous ZogoFlex® material and their HardyTex™ fabric, this toy will stand up to some rough play, although it’s not recommended for very aggressive chewers. Cute, durable and it’s name is Fergus…how can you say no?

For those dogs on the go, check out the Clickit Terrain from Sleepypod. It’s a full-coverage harness for use in the car—this will keep your dog safe and secure in the backseat while you’re driving. It’s designed for strength too, which means it can double as a walking harness. Sleepypod’s website has information on how to take your dog’s measurements for the best fit.

If you’re looking to find a way to maximize your dog’s comfort while she’s hanging out outdoors, take a look at the Lodge Dog House with Porch by Boomer & George. This dog house has a space where your dog can shelter inside and also a porch for lounging outside when the weather is perfect. This charming little dog house is reminiscent of a cabin, and can serve as a cozy hideaway for a few hours on beautiful days.

Maybe your dog would prefer a fancy trip to a spa or a dog boutique this year? A trip for a special grooming session or a visit to one of the Chicago suburbs’ local dog boutiques is a fun way for you and your dog to enjoy time together during the colder months. Plus, this is a great way to support local businesses. Whatever you decide to do, remember to include your pup in the holiday merrymaking!
