Over two decades ago Lynn, embarked upon a labor of love and opened a sanctuary to rescue, rehabilitate, and provide a loving home for lost and abused birds. Her specialty is chickens, but along the way, has befriended and cared for assorted wild birds, lost racing pigeons, and injured doves.
Born and raised in Chicago, animals have always been a part of Lynn’s family, from chameleons to rabbits to dogs. With management experience in rescue and the security industries, Lynn approaches administration with compassion in mind.
When home, Lynn takes pride in the fact that there is always a contented chicken on her lap or near her feet!
