Pamela has been a pet parent since as long as she can remember and has cared for everything from the usual, to the unique, like chickens. Pam has been a volunteer with local humane societies and rescue groups for over 10 years and has done everything from walking dogs to interviewing families wishing to adopt.

She and her husband currently share their home with four rescues, two lab mixes, Harley and Abbey and two Boston Terriers, Lily and Bugsy. Pam has trained Harley as a registered therapy dog. She and Harley visit hospitals and nursing homes as well as local libraries as part of the READ program.
